The core components of GaiaSorter “Gaia” hyperspectral sorter include uniform light source, spectral camera, electronically controlled mobile platform (or conveyor belt), computer and control software. The working principle is to illuminate the object to be measured (sample) placed on the electronically controlled mobile platform (or conveyor belt) through the light source. The reflected light of the sample is captured by the spectral camera through the lens to obtain a one-dimensional image and spectral information. The mobile platform (or conveyor belt) drives the sample to run continuously, so that it can obtain continuous one-dimensional images and real-time spectral information. All data is recorded by computer software, and finally a three-dimensional data cube containing image information and spectral information is obtained.
